Another Acquisition in Next-Gen Sequencing

So here's a circular post if ever there was one. We're sending you to the Omics! Omics! blog from Keith Robison, which in turn refers to a few news items from our sister publication GenomeWeb Daily News.

But it's not as shameless as it looks. Robison offers a nice breakdown of Roche's purchase of 454, adding some analysis of the next-gen field by comparing the latest acquisition to the previous ones by Illumina and Applied Biosystems.
