Alzheimer's Researcher Dies

Robert Katzman, a University of California, San Diego neuroscientist, died last Tuesday at the age of 82. Katzman showed that Alzheimer's disease was the fourth leading cause of death and that senile dementia was not a part of normal aging. Katzman also co-founded the Alzheimer's Association and helped create the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at UCSD.
