After Killing the Thesis Dragon, There's the Grand Poobah Stage to Look Forward To

Palazzo envisions his as a series of levels, complete with monsters -- the doctoral thesis would be a dragon to slay. He's only reached Level Three, postdoctoral fellow, and imagines the next levels to include assistant professor, professor, and then maybe grand poobah.
