Biolog Names Distributors for Europe

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Biolog today announced new distributors for its products in Europe.

IUL Instruments will sell and market the Hayward, Calif.-based company's products in Germany and Austria, while Awel International is the firm's distributor in France. A&LCO Industries is Biolog's distributor in Italy, and IUL will distribute its products in Spain.

Biolog develops cell analysis tools. Its flagship product is the Gen III MicroPlate test panel for the identification of more than 1,300 species of bacteria. It covers human pathogens, animal pathogens, plant pathogens, and typical environmental bacteria, the company said.

The firm also offers its Phenotype Microarrays, which has applications for basic genetic and cellular research, cancer studies, drug and toxicology studies, and bioprocess optimization.
