NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Beckman Coulter has inked a deal to be exclusive distributor outside of North America for IntelliCyt's HyperCyt system, an automated platform for multiplex cell- and bead-based screening.

Beckman also will hold co-exclusive distribution rights to the system in North America for use on its own CyAn flow cytometer. Beckman said that the combination will "create the fastest available flow cytometric cell analysis system."

Albuquerque, NM-based IntelliCyt will continue to provide direct sales and support of its HyperCyt system in North America.
