Tm Bioscience, MetriGenix

Tm Bioscience and MetriGenix launched the Tm100 Universal Array on MetriGenix's proprietary 4D Assay System.

This configuration applies Tm Bioscience's universal DNA assay scheme onto MetriGenix's flow-through chip for rapid analysis of DNA samples. The universal array configuration consists of 100 separate complementary linear oligonucleotide pairs of tag and anti-tag primers. According to the company, the MetriGenix 4D Assay System utilizes flow-through design to optimize the surface area-to-volume ratio, and to provide shorter hybridization times. The platform requires smaller amounts of sample and reagents.

Chips are bundled in a 10-piece kit that lists for $2,450.
