Tecan and German Peptide Array Firm JPT Ink Co-marketing Deal

Premium

Austrian tools provider Tecan and Berlin-based JPT Peptide Technologies this week announced that they will promote each other's products.

Under the agreement, Tecan and JPT will market JPT's PepStar catalog peptide arrays and services alongside Tecan's HS 4800 Pro and HS 400 Pro automated array hybridization stations.

Siegfried Sasshofer, director of marketing at Salzburg-based Tecan, said in a statement that his company decided to partner with JPT because it is "clearly the market leader in the growing field of peptide microarrays and their use for seromarker discovery, immune monitoring, and enzyme profiling."

Further details of the partnership were not discussed.
