System Biosciences

System Biosciences this week made available its GeneNet siRNA Library offering that offers researchers access to libraries that target the entire human and mouse genomes.

Each library contains more than a hundred thousand siRNA templates that target 47,400 human or 39,000 mouse transcripts, according to SB.

The company said the libraries can be used to identify genes affecting specific biological processes, such as signaling cascades, apoptosis, cell proliferation, and differentiation, which would be good candidates for novel drug targets or diagnostic biomarkers.

The GeneNet libraries are also compatible with Affymetrix GeneChip arrays, SB said.
