Shippy previously served as a senior scientist at Motorola Life Sciences, Amersham Biosciences, and GE Healthcare in the CodeLink bioarray unit.
 

 
Ken Titlebaum has been named chief financial officer at Aushon BioSystems, the array tool vendor said last week.
 
Titlebaum joins Aushon from E Ink, a privately held developer of paper-like electronic displays, where he held senior responsibility for finance and other administrative functions. Prior to E Ink, Ken served as CFO of Etex, a privately held developer of medical devices for the orthopedics industry.
 
Aushon also named Mike Tognotti as vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. Tognotti previously served in a similar role at CombiMatrix. Prior to joining CombiMatrix, Tognotti was Western regional sales manager for Illumina. He has also held senior sales and marketing positions at Fisher Scientific and Operon Technologies.
