Emory Genetics Laboratory has named five new directors.

Zunyan Dai has been appointed director of EGL's Cytogenetics Laboratory. He joins EGL from Quest Diagnostics

Daniel Sharer and Patricia Hall have been tapped to serve as directors of EGL's Biochemical Genetics Laboratory. Sharer previously worked at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Hall worked at Mayo Clinic.

EGL has also named John Alexander, Yuan Xue, and Alice Tanner to serve as directors of its Molecular Genetics Laboratory. Alexander joins EGL from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Xue comes from the University of California, Los Angeles. Tanner has been working as a genetic counselor at Emory.
