People in the News: Peter Dansky


Peter Dansky has joined Agena Bioscience as CEO and a member of its board of directors. San Diego-based Agena recently acquired Sequenom's genetic analysis business, including its MassArray platform, and Dansky will lead the company into new application areas including clinical diagnostics.

He joins Agena from Life Technologies, where he was president of its molecular and cell biology division. Before that, he held management positions at Affymetrix, Millipore, Molecular Dynamics, and other companies.
