Illumina has appointed Jeff Huber to serve on its board of directors. Huber, who is senior vice president at Google, works with the Google X research branch and has led development of Google Maps, Google Apps, and Google Ads during his 11 years with the company. Before that, he was vice president of architecture and systems development at eBay, and senior vice president of engineering at Excite@Home.
