Martin Madaus has joined the board of directors for array maker Quanterix. Madaus recently was president, CEO, and chairman for Millipore, and before that he was president and CEO at Roche Diagnostics and vice president of business development for Roche Molecular Diagnostics. He currently is a director of the Massachusetts High Technology Council.

Sharps Compliance has appointed Ramsey Hashem to the newly established role of chief operating officer. Hashem joins Sharps from Affymetrix, where he served as senior vice president of global commercial operations from 2007 to 2010. Before that, Hashem spent six years with GE Healthcare.
