Combimatrix has appointed Daniel Forche to be senior vice president of sales and marketing. Forche comes to Combimatrix from Agendia, where he held the same title as his new post, and before that he worked in marketing and sales at Ventana Medical Systems and at Abbott Laboratories' diagnostics division.

Forte Research Systems has named Srini Ramachandra as its vice president of sales, marketing, and business development.

Prior to joining Forte, Ramachandra was responsible for global marketing of microarray instruments and software at Roche Diagnostics and, prior to that, he spent 15 years developing and marketing software products at Applied Biosystems for life science research.

Wilbert Keon has retired from his position as a director at Med BioGene, where he served since 2004. Keon founded the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in 1969, where he served as CEO until 2004.
