Aushon BioSystems last week named Johann de Bono, John Heymach, Gavin MacBeath, and Gordon Mills to its newly formed scientific advisory board.

De Bono is a consultant in medical oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research in London.

Heymach is an associate professor of thoracic head/neck medical oncology and cancer biology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, and he is director of the Thoracic Blood Biomarker Laboratory at the hospital.

MacBeath is senior director and head of translational research and co-founder at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, and he was a faculty member in the department of chemistry and chemical biology at Harvard University.

Mills is university chair in cancer medicine, chair of the department of systems biology in the division of cancer medicine, and co-head of the Kleberg Center for Molecular Markers at MD Anderson.
