Heiner Dreismann, former CEO of Roche Molecular Diagnostics, has joined the board of directors at Shrink Nanotechnologies, and he will chair the company's business advisory board. Before he served as CEO at Roche, Dreismann was a senior executive in the company's business unit for PCR and microbiology.

Luminex last week made three senior appointments. Michael Pintek has been named senior vice president of operations; Jeremy Bridge-Cook has been named senior vice president of the firm's assay group; and Nancy Krunic has been named vice president of Luminex Molecular Diagnostics.

Pintek joins Luminex from Roche, where he was most recently vice president and general manager of blood screening for Roche Molecular Systems. He has also held positions at Ventana Medical Systems and Abbott Laboratories.
Bridge-Cook was vice president of Luminex Molecular Diagnostics since Luminex acquired Tm Bioscience in 2007. He had been with Tm since 2001.

Krunic was associate vice president of clinical and regulatory affairs at Luminex Molecular Diagnostics. Prior to that, she held a variety of positions at Tm.
