David Okrongly has stepped down as CEO of Quanterix. Executive Chairman Martin Madaus is currently acting as the company's interim CEO. Madaus has been executive chairman since November 2010. Previously he was president and CEO of Millipore.


Proteome Sciences has tapped Glenn Barney to be vice president of business development in North America. Barney previously held the same title at NextGen Sciences, where he was responsible for commercializing biomarker discovery services. Before that, he held senior positions at Decision Biomarkers and PerkinElmer.
