Paul Nadler, Fred Hassan, Richard Jay Kogan


Paul Nadler has been named vice president of medical research for Branford, Conn.-based Cellular Genomics. Nadler is the managing general partner of Nadler Pharma Associates, a consulting firm. Previously, he was chief medical officer for Kern McNeill International. Nadler holds an MD from Washington University School of Medicine.


Fred Hassan was named chief executive officer of Schering-Plough and will become chairman of the board, the company said. He will replace Richard Jay Kogan, who announced his intention to retire in November. Hassan previously was chairman and CEO of Pharmacia. Hassan holds a BS in chemical engineering from Imperial College of Science and Technology of the University of London and an MBA from Harvard University.
