New Products: EMD Millipore's PureEpi Chromatin Preparation and Optimization Kit

Premium

EMD Millipore this week introduced its PureEpi Chromatin Preparation and Optimization Kit.

The kit contains reagents designed for the generation of chromatin for chromatin immunoprecipitation experiments. EMD Millipore claims the kit's contents can be used to optimize chromatin preparations, as well as to generate chromatin in multiple sample types starting from either cultured cells or tissues.

The firm also claims that the new product is the first kit to provide a set of buffers, detailed methods, and optimization guidelines specifically designed for generation of sheared chromatin for ChIP.´The protocol provided in the kit outlines an approach for chromatin preparation. Data demonstrating how modifications to fixation and sonication conditions can impact chromatin quality and ChIP performance are also provided.
