Chinese scientists have developed a biochip, “Detection Kit for HCV Antibodies,” for the detection of the virus that causes hepatitis C, according to a report in The People’s Daily, the Beijing based newspaper of the Chinese Communist Party.
Wang Shengqi, deputy director of the Beijing based National Biochip Engineering Center led a team of researchers from the Chinese Academy of Military Medicines (CAMM) and Yishengtang Biological Products of Shenzhen, China in creating the chip.
