Kirk Malloy, Bernd Aundrup, Johann Lhn, Gilles Martin, Matthias-Wilbur Weber


Kirk Malloy has been named vice president of customer solutions at Illumina, the company said last week.

Malloy joined Illumina in 2002 and served previously as senior director of customer solutions.

He also worked as director of technical service and implementation at Biosite, and before that as customer operations manager at Qiagen.

Malloy has held research and teaching positions at Northeastern University and Boston University. He holds a BS in biology from the University of Miami, and his MS and PhD in marine biology/biochemistry from the University of Delaware.

Bernd Aundrup and Johann Löhn have resigned from their positions in MWG Biotech's Supervisory Board following the company's annual meeting, the company said yesterday.

Taking their seats will be Gilles Martin, the chief executive officer of Nantes, France-based Eurofins Scientifics and Matthias-Wilbur Weber, Eurofins' chief financial officer.
