Imaging Research, Axaron Bioscience, Stratagene


Imaging Research of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, last week rolled out an evaluation edition of MCID Analysis 7.0 research image analysis software. The software is available by web download and is fully functional.


Axaron Bioscience of Heidelberg, Germany, recently introduced iGentifier, a transcription profiling technology. The product combines fragment display with tag sequencing methods and can be customized for existing genomic platforms or purchased as a service. The product is based on the separation of fluorecently labeled DNA fragment mixtures by capillary electrophoresis.


Stratagene has rolled out its Brilliant SYBR Green Single-Step QRT-PCR Master Mix system for quantitation of gene expression in a closed-tube system. This master mix is developed to amplify and detect amplicons up to 400 bp, according to Stratagene.
