Illumina last week launched its RatRef-12 Whole-Genome Expression BeadChip, a whole-genome expression product for rat that analyzes 12 samples in parallel on one of the company’s BeadChips.
Content for the RatRef-12 Expression BeadChip is derived from the National Center for Biotechnology Information’s RefSeq database and 22,000 rat transcripts are represented on the array, Illumina said.
The company now offers expression BeadChips as catalog products or through service providers for rat, mouse, and human.
