Erik Christensen has been named managing director of DiaGenic effective Jan 1, 2007, the Norwegian diagnostics firm said this week.
 
Christensen is currently manages the diagnostics division of Abbott Norway. DiaGenic’s current managing director and co-founder Anders Lönneborg will now serve as the firm’s scientific director.
 

 
BioTrove has appointed Albert Luderer president and CEO.
 
Luderer, who will also become a BioTrove director, comes to the company from Light Sciences, where he was also president and CEO.
 
He has also been president and chief operating officer of BioMérieux and has held senior positions at Dianon Systems and Boehringer Mannheim
 

Luderer has a BA from Drew University and an MS and PhD from Rutgers University
