Cepheid, Array Genetics


Cepheid has launched its Smart Cycler II DNA analysis system. This new upgrade allows users increased flexibility in the use of fluorescent dyes, chemistries, and techniques. The software includes the option to automatically move from one PCRR stage to the next.

Array Genetics of Newton, Conn., has launched µArrayDB, a web-based system for DNA microarray project management, the company said. The system, which is designed expressly for core facilities, includes a database for archiving and exchanging DNA data that collects project and cRNA target information and links them to .dat, .cel, .exp and .rpt files.
