Bruce MacMillan, Dan Kisner


Caliper Technologies of Mountain View, Calif., has appointed Bruce MacMillan as vice president and general counsel, reporting to CEO and president Dan Kisner. MacMillan will also serve as corporate secretary to Caliper’s board of directors.

MacMillan previously served as vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary for Sugen, a biotechnology company acquired by Pharmacia. Before joining Sugen, MacMillan served as associate general counsel for Raychem. MacMillan was also general counsel of Ericsson-Raynet, and also served in private practice for 10 years. MacMillan received his JD from Hastings College of Law and earned both an MBA and a BA from the University of California at Berkeley.
