Baumgarner Lab to Hold Array Analysis Workshops

The University of Washington Center for Expression Arrays is offering two hands-on workshops on microarray analysis — “High-Powered Microarray Analysis Using Low/No-Cost Tools” — this summer. The first workshop, scheduled for June 21-22, will offer instruction on single-color microarray analysis with an emphasis on the Affymetrix platform. The second, scheduled for July 13-14, offers instruction in two-color array analysis. Faculty for the session will include: Roger Bumgarner, the director of the lab; Tao Peng, bioinformaticist; Mette Peters, senior research scientist at the lab; Kyle Serikawa, lab manager; Caimiao Wei, biostatistician; and Ka Yee Yeung, research assistant professor in microbiology.
