Alpha Innotech, ProteoPlex

Premium

Alpha Innotech of San Leandro, Calif., and ProteoPlex of St. Louis announced a strategic alliance to co-market their respective AlphaArray 7000MPS High-throughput Microarray Reader and ProteoPlex multiplex assay systems. ProteoPlex arrays products are available in two formats: standard 96-well microplates or microscope slides with 16 separate assay chambers, both of which are compatible with the AlphaArray 7000MPS.

Initial products from ProteoPlex will allow scientists to measure the concentration for a panel of human or mouse cytokines from a variety of samples. Future multiplex panels developed by ProteoPlex will allow the user to detect proteins involved in cancer, cell cycle, apoptosis, and signal transduction.
