Affymetrix, BGI Sign Ag-Bio Microarray Pact | GenomeWeb

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Affymetrix said today that it has inked a memorandum of understanding with China's BGI to co-develop and co-market new microarrays aimed at the agriculture and livestock research markets.

Under the non-exclusive collaboration, the companies will use BGI's catalog of sequence data and bioinformatics analysis capabilities to develop genotyping arrays for crop and livestock genomes.
