Acceler8 Technologies, Greiner Bio-One, Biocore Screentech Conference

Acceler8 Technologies of Denver has introduced a new line of high-performance microtiter plates, produced in collaboration with Greiner Bio-One, a German manufacturer. The plates are sold with Accelr8’s OptArray line of microarraying slide products. The company said the plates are early in the market for supporting high-performance microarraying and coincide with efforts to introduce high-volume arraying and scanning.

Biocore of Uppsala, Sweden, will launch Procell, a fluorescent cell-based assay system, at the Screentech Conference, March 23-26, in San Diego. The system is designed to characterize compounds that interact with G-protein-coupled receptors and ion channels.
