X-Mine Licenses Informatics to Isis

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 6 - X-Mine has licensed its biological knowledge database and gene expression analysis system to Isis Pharmaceuticals, the companies said today.


Isis will use X-Mine's Opus and X-Miner tools to mine phenotype and expression information from its own databases, John McNeil, Isisvice president of informatics, said in a statement.


Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.


X-Mine is headquartered in Brisbane, Calif.
