Warnex to Provide Pathogen-Detection Services to Poultry Company Marshall Durbin

NEW YORK, Oct. 6 (GenomeWeb News) - Canadian genomic-identification company Warnex will provide US-based poultry producer Marshall Durbin with pathogen detection services with its real-time PCR-based system, the company said today.

 

Financial terms of the deal or the amount of testing it would perform annually were not disclosed.

 

The Warnex detection system processes samples in 12 to 48 hours, the company said.

 

Marshall Durbin produces 350,000,000 pounds of chicken annually, and employs 1,850 people, the companies said.
