VWR, PerkinElmer Expand Chromatography, Spectroscopy Products Deal

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – PerkinElmer today said that it has inked a new distribution agreement with VWR International, under which the West Chester, Pa.-based life science and analytical products distributor will offer broader and more streamlined ordering options for PerkinElmer's chromatography and spectroscopy products.

The distribution deal includes PerkinElmer's inorganic, chromatography, and materials characterization consumables, as well as FT-IR and UV/Vis spectroscopy solutions.

Andrea Beccari, vice president of consumables for PerkinElmer, said in a statement that the agreement will offer more convenience and options for its customers, who currently buy PerkinElmer's products through its own sales and service channels.

Financial and other terms of the pact were not disclosed.
