U.S. Genomics Names John Canepa as New CEO

NEW YORK, Dec. 15 (GenomeWeb News) - U.S. Genomics has promoted acting CEO John Canepa to president, chief executive officer, and a member of the board of directors, the company said today.


Canepa, formerly the company's chief financial officer, was appointed acting CEO in June when Stephen DeFalco left in July to become chief operating officer and chief executive of MDS.


Canepa will continue to lead the company in developing biodefense applications and the Trilogy 2020 platform and assays, the company said.
