Deadlines

November 1
Application deadline for NIH grant for Roybal Centers for Translational Research on Aging. This award will support translational research into the behavioral and social sciences of aging.

November 14
Abstract submission deadline for the Advances in Genome Biology and Technology conference, to be held Feb. 4-7.

November 14
Application deadline for NIH's Genome-Wide Association Studies of Treatment Response in Randomized Clinical Trials grants. This program will fund a coordinating center to be a central resource for genome-wide association studies in randomized controlled clinical trials. It will also fund individual study investigators to identify genetic variants associated with conditions of clinical or public health significance.

November 15
Application deadline for the NIH grant on Integration of Mouse Models into Human Cancer Research. This money extends the NCI-Mouse Models of Human Cancers Consortium for a third project period, with its overall goal to integrate mouse models into basic, translational, epidemiological, and clinical cancer research.

November 19
Application deadline for Limited Competition for Research Centers in Minority Institutions Infrastructure
for Clinical and Translational Research, a program offered through NIH. This award will support the development of infrastructure required to conduct clinical and translational research in institutes funded by the Research Centers in Minority Institutions program.

November 22
Application deadline for the Collaborative Studies on Systems Biology of Complex Phenotypes grant that will support collaborative projects that use systems biology approaches to study the mechanisms that underlie genetic determination of complex phenotypes.
