NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) — Genomic Health today said that United HealthCare Insurance will cover its Oncotype Dx test for women who have early-stage breast cancer.  
The Oncotype DX analyzes the risk of a recurrence of breast cancer and predicts the chances that chemotherapy will be beneficial. Genomics Health said the test will be covered for claims for services after Jan. 3.
In March 2006 the National Heritage Insurance Company, a Medicare contractor, said it would cover the test.
