United Bioinformatica to Market Real Biotech s Molecular Biology Kits in Canada

NEW YORK, Sept. 30 (GenomeWeb News) - Calgary-based United Bioinformatica announced today that it has made an agreement with Taiwan-based Real Biotech Corporation to market their molecular biology kits in Canada.

RBI's kits include a HIT Competent Cells kit which allows for transformation of cells in about a minute, without using heat shock, according to Russell Trischuck, a UBI partner who has been testing molecular biology kits for over nine years.

Together with RBC, UBI has a broad range of molecular biology kits available, including kits for competent cells, DNA and RNA extraction, plasmid isolation, nucleic acid clean up, cloning systems, polymerases, ladders, and proteomics.
