UK s Geneservice to Provide Whole-Genome Amplification for Sanger Institute

NEW YORK, March 28 (GenomeWeb News) - Geneservice of Cambridge, UK, said today that it will provide whole-genome amplification for around 25,000 samples for the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute.


Geneservice will support several projects underway at the Sanger Institute, including the Wellcome Trust Case Control Consortium, the EPIC (European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition) obesity study, MalariaGen, and the International 1q type 2 diabetes consortium.


Financial terms of the agreement were not provided.
