UD Partners with Optive Research for Grid-Based Drug Discovery

NEW YORK, Aug. 4 (GenomeWeb News) - United Devices said today that it is partnering with computer-assisted drug discovery software firm Optive Research to optimize the newly launched company's software for UD's Grid MP distributed computing platform.

The Grid MP technology - which harnesses unused computing cycles from clusters, servers, desktops, and workstations into a single computing platform - is now available with Optive's DiverseSolutions software for chemical diversity and library design, UD said.

The companies said they are also planning to provide Optive's Confort software for conformational searching and sampling, as well as its EA-Inventor software for de novo molecular design.

Further information on the partnership is available here.
