NEW YORK, March 27 - Axon Instruments today said the Experimental Biotechnology Laboratory microarray core facility at the University of New Mexico will use its Acuity microarray informatics software to study animal models of infectious diseases.
Acuity 3.0 is a multi-user microarray database and analysis platform, according to Axon. The platform combines Axon's GenePix microarray scanner and GenePix Pro software. It also has a gene database, statistical tools, and data-mining algorithms.
