U of Arkansas Medical Center to Use Ardais Biospecimen-Management System

NEW YORK, Feb. 1 (GenomeWeb News) - The University of Arkansas Medical Center has adopted the Ardais biospecimen-management system, creating a comprehensive tissue bank for medical research, the organizations said today.


The Ardais system will be integrated across UAMS, and will allow researchers to access stored tissue specimens and request specimens from other facilities that use the system.


Marwan Yared, an assistant professor of pathology at UAMS, will direct the tissue bank.
