Tripos Announces New Agreements with Cara Therapeutics, Abbott Labs

NEW YORK, Mar. 22 (GenomeWeb News) - Informatics shop Tripos said today that its UK-based medicinal chemistry group has signed a research collaboration agreement with Cara Therapeutics, a New York-based biotech startup focused on developing therapeutics for pain and inflammation.


Separately, Tripos announced yesterday that it will collaborate with Abbott Laboratories to make compounds. The two firms will collaborate in library design, analysis and synthesis, according to a statement from the companies.


Financial details were not released for either agreement.
