Translational Genomics Research Institute Set to Pocket Portion of Motorcycle Auction Winnings

NEW YORK, Sept. 23 (GenomeWeb News) -  Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling has launched an auction to raise funds in support of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, melanoma research and patient care, according to a news report today. 

 

The auction of an autographed Harley-Davidson motorcycle will last for 12 days, and all profits will be divided between the ALS Association and the Translational Genomics Research Institute in Phoenix. Schilling is a member of TGRI's board.

 

The motorcycle is now available for auction on www.redsox.com and www.mlb.com.
