Tm Bioscience to Supply LabCorp with Tag-It Reagents for Cystic Fibrosis Assay

NEW YORK, Oct. 13 (GenomeWeb News) - Toronto-based Tm Bioscience has penned a supply deal with Laboratory Corporation under which Tm will provide Tag-It CF70 reagent for use in the clinical reference lab giant's cystic fibrosis assay, the companies said today in a statement.

Under a master purchase agreement the companies announced in June, Tm agreed to provide "a suite of Tag-It products" for LabCorp's genetic assays. The first of these reagents involved Ashkenazi Jewish Panel gene assay. Tm signed a similar agreement with Quest Diagnostics in May.

Tm Bioscience's Tag-It assays use a proprietary tag system and operate on a Luminex xMap bead-based array system.
