TIGR Buys Two Genetix Microarray Platforms

NEW YORK, Sept. 12 (GenomeWeb News) - Genetix said today that the Institute for Genomic Research's PathogenFunctionalGenomicsResourceCenter has installed two of its QArray2 microarrayers.


TIGR researchers will use the system to create whole-genome microarrays to study a number of pathogens, such as Bacillus anthracis, Coronavirus/SARS, and Plasmodium falciparum.


Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
