Shares in Third Wave Technologies rose 6 percent to lead the 10 stocks in the BioCommerce Week Index that gained value during the five-day trading period ended Tuesday. Shares in Beckman Coulter, which dropped nearly 4 percent last week after the firm announced it would acquire Biosite for $1.55 billion, rebounded this week with a 4.4 percent gain.
