Third Wave Signs on Mayo Clinic Lab As Customer

NEW YORK, Nov. 14 (GenomeWeb News) - Third Wave technologies has signed an agreement to supply Mayo Medical Laboratories, the Mayo Clinic's reference lab, with its Invader genetic testing technology, the Madison, Wis., company said Nov. 12.


The laboratory will use the technology to test for three mutations associated with an elevated risk of deep-vein  blood clots, as well as pulmonary embolism: Factor V Leiden, Factor II mutations, and MTHFR mutations.
