Third Wave Shares Sink 15 Percent After Second Analyst Downgrades Stock

NEW YORK, March 1 (GenomeWeb News) - Shares in Third Wave Technologies were down 15.08 percent, or $1.03, $5.80, in mid-morning trading after Piper Jaffray downgraded the stock to "Market Perform" from "Outperform."

 

The downgrade comes on the heels of a Feb. 23 downgrade from Cairns & Company, which demoted Third Wave stock to "Average" from "Above Average" following the company's disappointing fourth-quarter 2004 financial results.
