Third Wave Q2 Revenues, Losses Down

NEW YORK, July 23 - Third Wave technologies today reported decreased net second-quarter revenues, amid narrowing net losses.

 

The Madison, Wis., company's revenues came to $8.8 million, compared to $9.6 million for the same period last year.

 

Net losses came to $2.2 million, compared to $6.1 million for the second quarter of 2002.

 

R&D expenses shrunk to $2.7 million, from $3.6 million for the year-ago quarter.

 

At the end of the quarter, the company had $56.8 million in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments.
