NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Thermo Fisher Scientific today said that it will redeem all of its outstanding 3.25 percent convertible senior subordinated notes due 2024.
The firm said that $329,229,000 million in aggregate principal amount of the notes was outstanding as of Feb. 25, 2011. The notes will be redeemed on March 30 at 100 percent of their principal amount plus accrued and unpaid interest to the redemption date, said Thermo Fisher.
Last week, the company sold $2.2 billion in senior notes, which will be used to pay for its acquisition of Dionex.
